Thimbleberry House’s first retail location is a lifelong dream of this local mother-daughter team. Jan Espersen, a visual coordinator who has been in the floral and interior design business for over 25 years has joined with her daughter, Joy Marroquin, to create this creative, beautiful shop. “Working with Joy to realize our vision for Thimbleberry House is a dream come true,” says Jan. “We look forward to sharing our passion for flowers and outdoor entertaining with our friends and neighbors from across the Las Vegas Valley.”
The store is based around the concept of a European flower market – fresh flowers are arranged in galvanized buckets for customers to make their own bouquets. Jan explains, “I wanted to give customers the opportunity to see the beauty of fresh flowers. You just cannot appreciate each flower’s beauty when it sits in a cooler all day.”
Thimbleberry House also specializes in succulent gardens, preserved wall gardens and outdoor accessories. With each season, the store will transform to look completely different and fresh. “Flowers and outdoor décor changes with each season, so it makes sense to allow our store to evolve and transform to fit the seasonal changes,” says Jan. Thimbleberry House also offers custom services in fresh, artificial and preserved flowers for your home, party or next big event.
